Ifemide Livingfont serves as the General Secretary of the Food Security Insights Capstone Project and as a committed member of the Research and Data Workstream, where she helps connect the dots between numbers and the lived realities they represent. Her work sits at the intersection of research, coordination, and policy analysis, driven by empathy and a deep understanding of Nigeria’s complex development landscape.
Prior to joining the SPPG Class of 2025, Ifemide led impactful youth development projects through AIESEC, co-founded a student-run business, and continues to mentor rural educators in underserved communities. Professionally, she works in Treasury for one of the world’s largest investment banks, managing global strategic bids and leading cross-functional teams to deliver customized financial solutions for major corporate clients. Her ability to transform high-stakes deadlines, complex data, and strategic priorities into persuasive, results-driven narratives seamlessly translates to the policy arena, where achieving tangible outcomes is paramount.
A certified and practicing project manager, bid strategist, and treasury professional, Ifemide brings deep expertise in finance, credit analysis, and stakeholder engagement to her role. She is passionate about applying these skills to support structural reforms that deliver measurable impact, policies and programs that work not just on paper, but in practice. Her pragmatic approach focuses on fixing systemic leaks, removing bottlenecks, and creating room for local innovation to flourish.
When she’s not immersed in finance, research, or advocacy, Ifemide can be found buried in a thrilling novel or lighting up a room with one of her signature handmade candles, bringing warmth and creativity to every space she touches.
