Obilo Ogbonna is a global infrastructure and operations executive with over a decade of experience leading energy, logistics, and transport ventures across Nigeria, Ghana, and the United Kingdom. He currently serves as Executive Director at Hermes Engineering, where he oversees operations and maintenance for over eight National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP), playing a pivotal role in expanding access to reliable power infrastructure in Nigeria.

A 2023 House of Representatives candidate under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in Abia State, Obilo brings a unique blend of political insight and private sector leadership to his work in governance and sustainable development.

As a member of the Finance and Sustainability Workstream of the Food Security Insights Capstone Project, he contributes strategic thinking on public-private collaboration and financing models that support resilient food systems.

Obilo holds an MSc in Public Administration, a BSc in Environmental Management and Toxicology, and has completed executive training in strategic management at the Lagos Business School (SMP 34).
